    Over the past twelve years, Dr. Pulapaka's expertise in podiatric surgery has helped thousands of patients. Working with a comprehensive plan of care and a "limb salvage" surgical approach are the keys to her successful the patient outcome. Her surgical training has taken her to Miami for her residency and Russia, at the Ilizarov Institute, for her fellowship. She opened her surgical practice in 2005, DeLand Foot and Leg Center. “I believe in patient education, support and empathy. When a patient comes to my office with a serious medical problem, I want them to be able to give that worry over to me. I want them to focus on the positive energy of healing – not labs, x-rays, or surgery. That is the burden we gladly be bear so our patients can be stronger and healthier”.

    Dr. Pulapaka is an Associate in the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
    ACFAS physicians are doctors of podiatric medicine who are graduates of accredited U.S. podiatric medical schools. ACFAS members have completed surgical residency programs of up to four years, and all Associates of the College are certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, the surgical board for foot and ankle surgery recognized by the Joint Committee on the Recognition of Specialty Boards. Many have additional fellowship training in various aspects of foot and ankle surgery.
