    ABOUT THE TEAM

We develop trust with our patients because we are honest and straightforward with them. The level and quality of podiatry care we provide and the communication we offer is outstanding. The best thing we bring to our patients is listening to them. Our team is like a family.

One of our patients recently came in and anxiously told us he’d had a bad podiatry experience as a child, but felt his fear was really irrational. We told him that it’s truly a very real fear, and the fact that we understood and just listened to him helped him past his distress. He tentatively walked back to the treatment room, where he sat down in the chair began to listen our soothing music. By the time Dr. Pulapak came in he was relaxed, talking and laughing with all of us. We really enjoy recounting stories like that. Our caring and compassionate attitude shows our patients just how special we think they are.

  • DFALC Increases Focus on Women's Empowerment in Central Florida

Women worldwide face shared barriers to success in the medical field, marketplace, and benefit from programs advancing financial literacy, job training, entrepreneurship development, and economic self-sufficiency, proving the fundamentals of women’s economic empowerment are universal.

#FedUp! I have lost, as a female podiatric surgeon, 27% annually, solely because of my gender. My cumulative lifetime earrings losses, in my 30-year career, will be $7,429,882.94. My first year in practice, I was subjected to a hospital that did not provide Equal On-Call Pay for female physicians/surgeons, that resulting loss of $99, 996.00. My pay disparity has been an average of $105,000/annually. The World Economics Forum is reporting that it wouldn’t be until 2133 until Equal Pay would be a reality, but with recent global changes, it has been pushed back to 2186.

No one knows this better than Dr. Pulapaka, that women need to push demand parity. Empowering women to thrive is both a global commitment and a foundational mission. Women Inspiring Change & Community Development (WICCD) was founded in 2017, by Dr. Pulapaka to encourage women in round-table discussions, podcasts, and talks with decision makers who seek ideal aspirations, goals, missions, and objectives while inspiring positive change. With a mission to unite and economically empower women, WICCD was officially integrated with the Company’s mission in 2017.
